The Breen Auction Group was founded by Kevin Breen 12 years ago following many years of service in the asset disposal industry. He has extensive experience in conducting auctions for a diverse range of products, either at a vendors premise or at our West Footscray Auction complex. Kevin is a fully licensed auctioneer and still conducts all of the company’s current auctions.
The Breen Auction Group specialise in conducting auctions at a vendor’s premise as well as at our auction complex located at 15 – 19 Sunshine Rd, West Footscray. Our complex consists of 40,000sq ft of storage space. Our company has become Victoria’s leading asset disposal centre where office furniture auctions are conducted every Wednesday.
We specialise in the disposal of office furniture and equipment, commercial catering equipment, plant and machinery, information technology equipment, motor vehicles and trucks. These auctions are conducted on behalf of major government (Federal and State) bodies, corporate organisations and private vendors.
Key members of the Breen Auction Group have extensive experience in all facets of asset disposal. A professional body noted for our competence and diversity of assignments, have a collective business experience exceeding 50 years. Our staff has a strong belief in delivering a high level of customer service in all dealings. Much of our success is owed to the time given to clients and our prompt attention to their needs.
Our regular weekly auction sales are promoted through our auction column advertised in Saturdays Melbourne Age newspaper, under the Auctions header of our website, through structured email campaigning and mail outs. Items of special interest are also highlighted in the Classified Advertisement section of the same newspaper. Major auctions are also promoted nationally to generate further interest.
The Breen Auction Group provides a safe and secure environment for vendors’ assets at our auction complex. All security aspects of the business are undertaken by PBM & Associates. Our auction complex is fully alarmed and secured every day and goods are further protected by our onsite security cameras.
Commission Rates and trading terms are structured to suit vendors needs and the size of the asset disposal project to ensure that each client’s expectations are met and the best possible result is achieved. Special consideration can be given to government bodies and major corporate organisations that may be dealing with a large volume or variety of assets.
The Breen Auction Group has a list of preferred carriers that can be engaged to manage the extraction and relocation of your goods. We pride ourselves on these relationships working for our vendors as they form a valuable part of our business model. Our carriers work in the best interest of both the Breen Auction Group and our clients. The Breen Auction Group wants to provide a total management solution to your asset disposal problem. We are however happy to support the use of a carrier that is preferred by a client and will work closely with them to plan for the delivery of their goods.
